Pelvis (Female): Uterine/Vaginal abnormality

Preparation:

  • Fast at least 4 hours prior to exam
  • Empty the bladder before scan
  • Coverage – from iliac crest to pubic symphysis
  • Adjust slice thickness (3-­‐5mm typically) and matrix to pt size and scan time requirements
